Civil Engineering Services for The Shoppes at Celebration Place, a walkable retreat for food and refreshments

The development of shopping centers offers a unique design challenge, given the desire to create walkable centers while providing ample parking. This center also provided an elevated plaza and between building patio at the intersection of Celebration Place and Celebration Place to create more opportunities for outdoor socializing. All of course was created with ADA accessibility.

Design elements included:

  • Access from US 192
  • Central Round-About Design
  • Adjacent Wetland Hydration through Roof drain connections
  • Pavement signing and marking
  • Storm and Utility Design
  • ADA Access from Celebration Place including the addition of a left hand turn lane

For this project, we were charged with several tasks:

  • Due Diligence Analysis
  • Master Planning
  • Preliminary Development Plan & Final Engineering Design
  • Representation at Public Meetings
  • Project Management
  • Sub-Consultant Coordination
  • Tenant Coordination for Utility and Site Requirements
  • Utility Provider Coordination
  • Permitting through Local, State and Federal Agencies
  • Plat Coordination
  • Close-out Certifications

To ensure every element of this 43,000 SF shopping center was accounted for, we coordinated with representatives from several brand name restaurants for utility and site requirements.
