We are looking for a growth-oriented Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our Central Florida team. Capabilities:
The ideal candidate will be solution oriented and come with a background of managing site development projects. He/she will have been exposed to all facets of project delivery including conceptual design, alternatives analysis, plans production, construction cost estimating, specification preparation, construction observation, schedule and budget management, and the skill to communicate effectively with clients, team members and sub-consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with client, team members, sub-consultants
  • Perform planning phase activities, including project due diligence, identifying and communicating project opportunities and constraints
  • Perform and direct all aspects of civil engineering design and construction administration for retail, commercial, industrial and municipal projects
  • Define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements
  • Manage project progress, staffing, and budgets
  • Lead and/or support project proposals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in relevant site civil or land development engineering
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a project manager role demonstrating experience in nurturing existing clients and developing new clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida
  • Track record of successful projects in Florida
  • Strong working knowledge of civil engineering design including geometry, paving, grading and stormwater, and utilities
  • Experience with ICPR, WaterCad, StormCad, and SewerCad
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong Communication Skills and experience with making public presentations

Senior Project Engineer/Group Leader - Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI)

An SPE who can win work, has a solid track record and name recognition with FDOT (D1, D2, D5, Turnpike), manage projects and lead/grow the staff.
