CE&I services for Red Bug Lake/S.R. 436 Interchange
As part of the CDM Smith team, Civil/Site Engineering, Inc. provided construction engineering and inspection (CE&I) services for the new Red Bug Lake Road/ S.R. 436 Interchange in Casselberry, Florida.
This $24.5 Million construction project was comprised of the following elements:
- Eight-lane expansion of S.R. 436
- Six-lane expansion of Red Bug Lake Road
- Four-lane expansion of Winter Park Drive
- Construction of 4 span steel flyover bridge
Additional features included, upgraded stormwater systems, utility pipe installation for three (3) utilities: Seminole County, City of Casselberry, and the South Seminole North Orange County Water Transmission Authority, road lighting and Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant ramps.
