Planet Putt at Universal CityWalkTM
Planet Putt, mini golf located at Universal Orlando CityWalk, was designed to provide entertainment for all abilities. The project consisted of two eighteen hole putt putt courses, one which was designed to be completely ADA accessible.
Civil/Site Engineering, Inc. was involved with this unique ADA accessible putt putt course from the conceptual design and construction document preparation to permitting and construction observation. Construction documents including course geometry, paving, grading, drainage, sewer and water were prepared by our team and submitted for agency review and approval through City of Orlando, SFWMD and FDEP.
Two unique challenges addressed by the team included designing an accessible course across 30 feet of elevation change, as well as protecting the primary pedestrian access way to CityWalk located directly above the course.
